Dr. Ioana Tofolean, organizeaza cursuri de oftalmologie online in fiecare saptamana, joi seara incepand cu ora 19 (cu variatii saptamanale, ce vor fi anuntate ulterior impreuna cu linkurile pentru logarea online, in functie de coordonator)

ICO Exam 2025

The next sitting of ICO Examinations is 28 April 2025. Register by Friday 24 January 2025 to join the more than 60,000 ophthalmologists in 84 countries who have taken the ICO Examinations to further their careers and meet the necessary requirements to practice in their home countries. The following examinations will be offered:

  • Visual Science
  • Optics, Refraction, and Instruments
  • Clinical Ophthalmology
  • Advanced Examination

By completing the first three ICO Standard Examinations, you will be able to take the ICO Advanced Examination and qualify for the prestigious Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) designation.
 
ICO Examinations also provide a pathway to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. All candidates who pass the ICO Standard Examinations are eligible to apply for the final clinical FRCS Ophthalmology examination. Passing this leads to the highly-sought FRCS (Ophth) (Glasg) designation.
 
Candidates who belong to an ICO Member Society enjoy reduced registration rates and free access to ICO Foundation Assessments to help prepare for examinations. All candidates who pass their ICO Examinations are assigned extra points when applying for ICO Fellowship Awards. For registration questions, email icoassessment@icoph.org.
